To assist in the overall operation of the Retail Operations E-Commerce Department.  Perform initial sort and grading of product sent from retail stores via transportation.  Select appropriate merchandise for ecommerce website(s). Utilize multiple software programs to list items for sale online.  Assign correct location codes to all merchandise.  Properly describe all items per website/software guidelines. 

Shelve acceptable inventory into assigned location.

Seeking an individual who is flexible with scheduling, a motivator, clear communicator, problem-solver, goal-setter, mentor, able to develop close personal and professional relationships, contributor to their community, and committed to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities become integrated into their community personally and professionally.  The primary function of this position is to support the mission of Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley by assisting individuals to identify, acquire and maintain community employment.  Recipients of this service will be individuals with developmental disabilities who are either: 1. Transitioning from high school to adult life situations or; 2. Transitioning from isolating environments (sheltered employment/enclaves/day habilitation programs) into community-based employment settings.             Facilitate and develop individualized, purposeful, and diverse goals based upon the individual’s interests, strengths, needs, and choices according to the ISP (Individualized Service Plan), IPE (Individualized Plan for Employment), and all other assessments to achieve integration in to the community and competitive employment.  Facilitate person centered planning to complete individual profile used for job development. Incorporate various teaching strategies utilizing available curriculum and encompassing all areas of life domains. Model behavior to improve independence and responsibility.


Job Title:    Driver/Activity Specialist I

The function of this position is to provide supervision of and assistance to participants in the Adult Day Care Program. The major focus of the position is to maintain the participants’ safety, well-being, dignity and general overall involvement in day to day activities, as well as encourage and promote independent living skills. Assist the Activities Facilitator in planning and implementing recreational, social and therapeutic activities, in accordance with program mission.  State tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) required as well as a High School Diploma or a GED. Minimum two (2) years of experience working with physically and/or mentally impaired adults. Demonstrate initiative, as well as, the ability to work cohesively within a team. Successful candidate must have the ability to show care, warmth, patience, and nurturing to the target population and must be able to follow through with projects in a timely and efficient manner.  Position will require the candidate to be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable driving record in order to drive a van and transport participants.

The function of this position is to provide transportation to the participants within Allen Co and surrounding Counties.  Assistance, as directed, within the program areas and route development is a major function of this position. Maintain the policies and procedures of GESMV.  Transport participants to and from medical, non-medical appointments and job sites, as scheduled, providing door-to-door assistance.  Follow established centers policy regarding participant confidentially.  Accurately record daily mileage, drop off and pick up times and participants’ attendance.  Must present all documentation concerning client contact, transfer receipts and other required billing documentation to the Program Coordinator or Immediate Supervisor on a daily basis.

This position is responsible for providing employment/vocational services to the WEP+CM interns. Job Title:   Recovery Navigator-Community Outreach Program

The Recovery Navigator will be responsible for the initial contact with potential consumers seeking assistance.The Recovery Navigator will identify consumers’ needs by completing a thorough intake process.They will then assist in the navigation process by referring the consumer to appropriate services within the agency as well as, to outside agencies based on the consumer’s desired outcome.Requirements include:HS diploma or GED preferred, but will consider applicants working on their diploma.Preference will be given to candidates who are Certified Peer Specialist by the State of Ohio or in pursuit of this certification.Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Internet, Email and have previous customer service experience.Preference will be given to individuals with psychiatric disorders and those who have affiliations and/or experience with Clubhouse International standards and principles.

The Direct Support Specialist will provide home and community based services to individuals referred by contracting agencies according to their individualized service plans. Duties include providing basic personal care and grooming, bathing (and bladder/bowel requirements), care of hair and assistance with clothing, household services essential to the consumer’s health and comfort in the home (e.g. necessary changing of bed linens or rearranging of furniture to facilitate ease of movement in the home), cooking including feeding if necessary, cleaning, laundry and shopping.  Group home experience and background working with individuals on the autism spectrum preferred.  A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years’ experience within MRDD field are required to be successful in this position

Job Title:   Payroll Accounting Clerk II

Responsibility for processing and entering daily Payroll paperwork for multiple Companies into software provided (currently, Ceridian).  Responsibility for checking the Payroll processing and assisting with other Payroll-related tasks.  Responsible for processing and maintaining 3 agency Commercial Bank Accounts, including the disbursements needed and the necessary entries to properly reflect this activity.  This involves invoice and check processing, recording monthly expense accruals, etc.  Responsibility for backing up the processing and data entry of all Accounts Payable invoices.   This job involves the use of Excel Spreadsheets and on-line billing.  Responsible for the review and collection of aged receivables for designated DD, specialty service, and TRC programs invoiced.  Keep up to date with the various funding sources rules and regulations concerning billable items.  Must be familiar with the detailed handling of all jobs in the Finance Office, in order to insure the timely and accurate reporting of all data needed to operate the Finance Office.  Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.  Comply with all agency policies, procedures and safety standards training throughout the work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, Department of Labor, HIPPA and other regulatory standards.

Job Title:    Dayton Works Program Supervisor
