Job Title:   Sales Clerk/Processor
Location: Urbana (7/30), Kettering/Patterson (08/09), Beavercreek (08/04), Miamisburg (08/04); Xenia (08/09); Bellefontaine (08/22); Lebanon (09/28)
Status:   Part-Time/Full-Time

Duties include selecting and pricing donated items to be sold in retail store. Process donations, hang clothing, operate register, and load/unload trailers. Experience in retail and operating a cash register is helpful. Job Title: Retail Operations Support Assistant

This candidate will be responsible for collecting information and maintain accurate databases of retail sales activity, inventory controls, and vendor information. The candidate will also provide executive administrative support to the Retail Management Team and manage special projects as requested by the Director of Retail with a wide variety of non-routine tasks.  Tasks include composing and typing routine correspondence and other documents as needed; record minutes of departmental meetings as requested; coordinate organizational meetings as requested; ensure the daily processing of retail sales and production reports; utilize POS and Security camera software to create reports and monitor performance; complete reports to GII as assigned; ensure all information received from the transportation staff is entered into the appropriate databases on a timely basis; maintain strictest confidence in regard to reports and confidential material; assist Retail Management Staff in preparing various weekly and monthly management reports on an as needed basis; provide clerical support for the Retail Management staff as needed; provide clerical support for the Director of Retail.

Accepts merchandise donations according to procedures in manual.  Must be able to maintain a cheerful and pleasant disposition when serving customers.  Loads and sorts materials on trailer according to instructions.  Maintain records of donations, provides daily reports on trailer condition.  Follows instructions on care of trailer and posting of signs as needed.  Maintains premises in compliance with Agency safety and housekeeping practices.  Complies with Goodwill Industries of the Miami Valley's rules and regulations.  Ensure compliance with all Agency policies, procedures throughout areas and maintain same to meet CARF, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Job Title: Supported Employment Rehabilitation Technician I

To assist program customers working in production of light industrial assembly jobs while modeling appropriate behaviors, reinforcing behavior, and providing intervention as necessary. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  Assist customers in work training to increase vocational skills and improve work behaviors as directed.  Monitor program customers’ Individual Service Plan (ISP) objectives and assist customers in meeting work readiness goals with on-the-job training in areas such as: appropriate behaviors, safety standards, interpersonal skills, productivity, and work quality. Maintain production timesheets for customers on a daily basis, measuring hours worked, position and product produced.  Monitoring customer productivity levels and quality to meet the ISP objectives and payroll accuracy. Must transport consumers. Personal vehicles will need to be used as deemed necessary. Perform quality control and material handling functions of specific contract job assigned to customers, as needed, to assist with customer production.  Report unusual incidents and inappropriate behaviors to training coordinator, supervisor, first aid team, crisis intervention team, and/or safety team as necessary.  Maintain acceptable standards related to CARF Accreditation.  Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards and ensure safety training throughout areas supervised and maintain same to meet CARF, OSHA, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards. Maintain CPR and First Aid certification.

Support consumers as they learn job functions and appropriate behaviors for maintaining employment.  Strong evaluation skills and knowledge of disabilities and deaf culture are a necessity for this position.  A variety of work experience and knowledge of the current job market is also necessary.  Other job functions will include the ability to complete weekly written reports, attend appropriate staff meetings, and display strong consumer advocacy. This is an on call position to join a labor pool of interpreting job coaches.  Hours vary and will be inconsistent.  American Sign Language preferred but not required.

To enable consumers to learn duties, functions and appropriate behaviors needed to maintain employment. Train consumer according to I.S.P. (Individual Service Plan), goals and objectives as noted by support team. Case note and evaluate consumer's progress. Turn in required paperwork (weekly, monthly) on time and re-checked for accuracy. Report to job site coordinator any changes, incidents or problems in a timely manner, using the most viable option. (phone, beeper, incident report) . Advocate for consumer at all times. Attend all required staffings for consumer and participate when required. Assist employers to develop techniques to effectively supervise consumers and work to maintain satisfactory Goodwill/Employer relationship. Provide own transportation and adequate liability insurance for such. Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, Department of Labor, HIPPA and other regulatory standards. Must maintain a valid Ohio driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider. Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check.  Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.  An awareness of and experience in training disabled individuals.  Knowledge of competitive employment work environments, policies and procedures. Must provide own transportation and adequate liability insurance.  Must have and maintain an operating home telephone or beeper.
