What Is LIFELAUNCH 2.0?

Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley’s LifeLaunch 2.0 program offers comprehensive services to young adults who have had previous involvement with adult or juvenile justice or might be at risk for offending due to a lack of a high school diploma or GED.
Participants in the program are given access to educational supports such as GED, industry-recognized credentials, post-secondary training, employment supports, and comprehensive case management. Participants are also given assistance with stabilizing basic needs such as housing, health care, and mental health supports.

Requirements To Enter The Program

To participate in LifeLaunch 2.0 candidates must meet the following criteria:
• A young adult between the ages of 18-24
• Reside in Dayton
• Have a previous involvement with adult or juvenile justice or at risk for offending due to lack of high school diploma or GED

The Goodwill® Young Adult LifeLaunch 2.0 Reentry Program is made possible with a $4.5 million grant award, covering 88 percent of operating costs, from the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration. Goodwill is contributing leveraged funding valued at $597,241 to cover the remaining 12 percent of operational costs.
