Miracle Clubhouse
Miracle Clubhouse, a service of GESMV, is a vital community for growth, hope and opportunity for people ages 18+ recovering from mental illness in the Dayton, Ohio area. We adhere to the Clubhouse International Model, and are committed to ongoing improvement, positive development of strengths, and elimination of the stigma against those with mental illness.
Our award-winning, nationally-certified, Miracle Clubhouse provides a place to belong and recognizes the value of every individual. Members voluntarily take ownership of tasks during a work-ordered day, allowing them to make meaningful contributions while forming positive relationships in a zero-judgement space. They also share a daily meal and create social events to build friendships and have fun!
Prevention Services
Prevention education equips communities with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize risks early and build resilience before problems escalate.
By promoting healthy coping strategies, prescription medication safety, and awareness of mental health challenges, prevention education reduces the likelihood of substance misuse and other behavioral health concerns.
Warmline
Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley (GESMV) in partnership with Montgomery County Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) has launched the Miami Valley Warmline, which provides free and confidential mental and behavioral health peer-support services to the community.
The warmline is a phone number you can call to receive early intervention with emotional support that can prevent a crisis along with learning about behavioral health and recovery resources
available to them in the community.
This differs from emergency hotlines and is not intended for emergency calls. The Miami Valley Warmline is available Monday – Friday 11 am – 7 pm by calling 937-528-7777.
