Opportunity Accelerator
Let Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley help you obtain the necessary tools and resources to reach your employment goals. The Opportunity Accelerator program is here to help guide you through the employment process. Our Employment Specialists will meet with you to learn more about your specific needs and goals, then assist you in finding a job that meets your goals.
If you are an individual living in recovery or a returning citizen, we have support and services specifically designed to help you in your journey to employment.
We can assist with the following:
- Resumé development
- Personalized job search with an employment specialist
- Assistance with identifying employment goals
- Exploring a variety of jobs
- Assistance with applying to job openings
- Getting connected to more employers in the community
- Job interview preparation
- Access to a computer lab to support employment goals
- Linking you to outside resources
Workforce Development
Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley has additional employment programs for adults and youth. Programs include:
- Business skills and customer service training
- Digital Skills Computer Training
- Placement services
- Work Experience Program – Ohio Works First Cash and Food Stamp Benefit Programs
- Comprehensive case management for youth ages 16-24
- Vocational Assessments / Career Planning

Miami Valley Works
We're seeking to eliminate poverty in our region by providing long-term job readiness training to our local community! With ongoing coaching, support services, counseling, and follow-up, Miami Valley Works is looking for new participants and local business employers.
Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities
For individuals living with a disability and receiving services through OOD or another referral source, we offer a wide range of supports.
