Generation Rx aims to educate people of all ages about the potential dangers of misusing prescription medications by striving to enhance medication safety among our youth, college students, other adults in our communities, and seniors. Prescription medications can help us live longer and healthier lives, but any medication has the potential to do harm – especially when misused. During the 3 hour class, participants will learn about the Older Adult toolkit including a presentation and educational materials and a trivia game. Participants will focus on the messages of being your own advocate, learning best medication practices, learning about the risk of misuse and how to make your home safer around medications.
