The Recovery and Employment program's goal is to assist individuals who have used illegal substances, alcohol or prescription drugs in excess, find long-term employment as part of the recovery process.

Recovery and Employment Program

The Recovery and Employment program is here to help you through the employment process. Our Employment Specialist will meet with you to learn more about your specific needs, employment goals, assist you in connecting to community resources or services,  and assist you in finding a job that meets your goals.   Peer Support services are also available.  We want to support you as you work towards a better life for you and your family.

We can assist with the following:

  • Resume development or updating a current resume
  • Personalized job search with an Employment Specialist
  • Connecting with employers in the community
  • Identifying a job goal
  • Exploring a variety of jobs
  • Vocational Services: Digital Skills Training
  • Peer Support to help you in the recovery process (Referral required)
  • Linking you to community resources
  • Upon starting a new job, you will receive Job Retention Support, which focuses on life stability, job advancement, and long-term retention.
  • Job retention supports with a focus on life stability, job advancement, and long-term retention

The following assistance is limited based on available funding:

  • Temporary assistance with transportation when starting a new job (Eligibility rules do apply)
  • Assistance with required work uniform/shoes or boots (Participants of this program are eligible to receive this assistance once)
